Mibelle Biochemistry Launches IceAwake

Lack of sleep is a common phenomenon in today’s society, resulting in visible signs of premature aging of the skin. On a cellular level, this is caused by stress to the endoplasmic reticulum, the molecular machinery responsible for correct protein folding and cell detoxification. Mibelle Biochemistry’s newest active, IceAwake, an extract of the Swiss glacier bacterium Iodobacter ssp., energizes skin cells and induces the expression of chaperones, which support correct folding of proteins such as collagens. In placebo-controlled clinical studies, IceAwake rejuvenated the skin of overworked volunteers by reducing wrinkle depth, improving signs of tiredness and increasing skin radiance.
